Make jodis out of awkward bohris
We are the future of bohri dating. A tinder like interface and user experience that makes matches based on something we like to call deen dunya ratio (DDR). We believe DDR is the number 1 most important factor that makes or breaks a bohri relationship. We're here to help mumin with no game find love.
Our amazing team of single people fed up with awkward conversations about love and marriage with people we can't vibe with have joined hands to create a platform that allows dating while staying within the laws of shariyat.
Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in this area, our founder got this idea during the covid 19 quarantine period. This idea was formulated in 2020 when the founder met people he vibed with but couldn't date them due to ddr or wff reasons.
We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change. Using data driven models, we provide solutions that make a long-lasting difference.
There are 10 levels of DDR. A 1 being completely out of deen and a 10 being completely out of dunya. Here we will be explaining what each of those levels are :
1 : A 1 is anyone that is completely out of deen and does not identify as a mumin. The only reason they are mentioned here is that they may have mumin relatives.
2 : A 2 is a 1 but with slightly greater mumin influence. They may have immediate relatives who are into deen or may have left deen after having been into it for a while.
3 : A 3 is someone who may appear for the most important miqats such as 10th of moharram, Lailatul Qadar etc. This is usually due to family pressure.
1, 2 and 3s are technically non believers and do not confirm to any of the laws and rules of islam. Mohramaat is a common life choice for these people.
4 : A 4 is someone who may be into some form of haram practice. They appear for the 10 days of moharram and most of the important miqats. Other than that they do not indulge in any deeni practices such as namaaz, Quran etc.
5 : A 5 is the halfway point between deen and dunya. They are pretty chill with all the categories below them and are capable of blending in with their more deeni counterparts as well. They do the bare minimum to get by.
6 : A 6 is basically a 5 that prays more namaaz and appears for more miqats. They will appear for all the important miqats as well as most of the uruses. They are deeper rooted into deen than their lower counterpart.
7 : This is where deen traits start overtaking duniya traits. 7s are very particular about being proper with their daily deeni practices such as namaaz and quran. They are uncomfortable around anyone that indulges in haram practices. How ever they may still be friends with 1s,2s and 3s.
8 : An 8 is a 7 that will walo namaaz if missed. They absolutely do not hang out with haram people. Infact they get offended just by their presence. In terms of marriage they will not marry anyone below 6.
9 : Basically ustaads and jamea graduates and people who have dedicated their lives towards deen. Try to marry into Qasre Ali families if they have the money and power to make it happen. Become deewan to QasreAli families if they don't. They usually end up becoming Aamils and Bhaisaabs.
10 : Lot of 8s and 9s believe that they are 10s when in fact 10s don't actually exist. This is because the prerequisite to be a 10 is that they must be completely out of dunya meaning that if they wanna be a 10, they might as well be dead.
This is just a general overview of where people fit in. In reality there are 7s with traits of 4s and 5s and there are 6s with traits of 8s and 4s. But when the average is taken into consideration they are what they are and they know what they are.
This is the basis on which we aim to match people. DDR plays a huge role in deciding whether or not a marriage will work and we wish to leverage this through our platform.
